So you’re in Paso Robles and craving some white wine, now what? I get it—been there, done that. White wine is easily my favorite genre of wine (besides rosé), and too often it gets overlooked by wine enthusiasts in the big, bold wine country of Paso. Well, it will no longer go unnoticed by the rest of the SLO Safe Ride team or me! It’s high time for a guide to some of the best wineries for white wine tasting.
Still Waters Vineyards
Serving up six different white wines, you get a variety pack of delightful wines at Still Waters with a beautiful view. (I recommend wine tasting in the Rustic Cabin or by the Kio Pond.)
Tastings $20 per person | make your reservation here.
Tablas Creek Vineyard
Offering up white wine only flights, you’ll drink your fill of delightful and crisp wines here. Soak up the beautiful Paso sun as you wine taste on the shaded outdoor patio of Tablas Creek Vineyard.
Tastings $20 per person | make your reservation here.
Brecon Estate
Feeling fancy and exclusive? Try out the premium wines over at Brecon Estate, a boutique winery off of Vineyard Drive in Paso Robles. This small winery produces small, handcrafted batches of wine that they sell exclusively through their tasting room.
Tastings $20 per person| make your reservation here.
Monochrome Wines
We saved the best for last. Monochrome Wines is the leading winery on the Central Coast for white wine because that’s all they produce! Get ready to taste white wines you’ve never tried before and a lot of unique white wine blends. Their location is also in Tin City.
