The best memories in wine country are the ones shared with your fluffy, barkin’ adorable best friend. Take your dog with you as you go wine tasting on the Central Coast. From Paso Robles to Edna Valley to Santa Ynez, discover the best dog-friendly wineries in each region.

1. Edna Valley Dog-Friendly Wineries
Only minutes away from the beach, Edna Valley is the perfect coastal wine retreat. Go to the beach in the morning and wine taste in the afternoon or vice versa! The boutique wineries in this region are well-known for producing excellent white wines, and other limited-selection wines that you can’t find anywhere else. The best part? A lot of the wineries here offer outdoor areas for picnicking with space for dogs! These are 3 of our favorite dog-friendly wineries in Edna Valley.

Farther from the coastline with sprawling vineyard hills that are home to over 200 wineries is Paso Robles. Try everything from old-world-style- wines to new-world-style wines (and everything in between). The diverse winemaking techniques, grapes used, and more guarantee a different wine tasting experience at every winery. Since most Paso Robles wineries are larger than the boutique ones in Edna Valley, you’ll find that this region is perfect for larger groups and dogs!
