Exploring the wonders of Hearst Castle, followed by a mini wine tour is the perfect way to discover what the Central Coast has to offer! The All-Inclusive Castle & Wine Tour is a full day (8 hour) excursion, starting early morning around 7 – 7:45 am. Water and a gourmet catered lunch will be provided on the tour. These tours are private charters, meaning your group gets the whole vehicle to themselves! The driver will arrive at your pick up location at a set time defined by your final itinerary, which usually range from 7am – 7:45am. You will spend up to an hour or more driving past the beautiful Central Coast scenery – ocean views, seaside towns, rolling hills, and even zebras! The driver will drop you off at the Ticket Office, where you will board a shuttle bus to go up to the Castle. On the tour, you’ll visit the Grand Rooms where W.R. Hearst guests’ stayed, swam, and socialized. The public guided tour lasts approximately one hour, in which you can explore the rest of the property afterwards and take in the historic views. After you’ve taken in the views of the magnificent pools, architecture, and art, your private driver will pick you up for the second portion of the day – wine tasting!
