You can still reclaim and live out your best summer from the beachy shores of Pismo to the wine-soaked hills of Paso Robles. Below you’ll find ideas to help you kick-off and enjoy your 2021 summer.
Jump Into Central Coast Activities
Before your fair dinner with funnel cake and popcorn, start your day of with a fun summer activity! We’ve listed a few of our favorites down below.
Coastal Activities:

Paso Robles Activities:
-Horseback through the rolling vineyard hills of Paso Robles with Central Coast Trail Rides. (We recommend pairing it with some wine tasting at Cass Winery after!)
-Fly through the air on the ziplines at Santa Margarita Adventures. (Conveniently right next door to the winery, Ancient Peaks for a glass of wine and lunch.)
-Explore the hills covered in lights at Bruce Munro: Field of Light At Sensorio.
Wine/Beer/Spirit Tasting
After you’ve made a splash into your summer activities, you may find yourself with some more time before your hot dog, funnel cake, pretzel fair feast. That’s where tasting comes in! You’ll find that wineries, breweries, and distilleries in the San Luis Obispo County are now open and ready for you to come in and taste.
From Paso Robles to San Luis Obispo, tasting rooms have new procedures to help you enjoy your tasting while being safe. (A side note, many places on the coast require reservations to taste. So, if you’re on a wine tour, beer tour, or spirits tour, make sure to ask for reservations. Our team automatically coordinates and reserves space for our tours with venues, but not every transportation company does.)
